With the recent changes to the Health Canada Food Guide where more daily fruits and vegetables were added with a reduction in the dairy and meat category, it is now more important then ever to be mindful of what you eat to have optimal health and wellness. We all knew this before, but given the Government of Canada is promoting a mainly plant based diet, the benefits must of course be based on science.
If you are looking for local vegan places near or around the Lonsdale Quay within walking distance we have a great list of options for your to choose from below. Keeping in mind if you live in the area you can access these places on foot, and if you are coming from Waterfront Centre commuting on the Seabus to Lonsdale Quay, the walk to nearby vegan food spots is easy.

Larry’s Market – marketplace grocery store that is focused on people who primarily eat a plant based diet
Cafe by Tao – a raw food places that serves delectable vegan and vegetarian dishes alongside a marketplace
Two Daughters Bake Shop – bakes fresh daily gluten free and organic loafs of bread, pastries, and more
Of course many or most of the restaurants in the Lower Lonsdale Avenue area near Lonsdale Quay have vegan and or vegetarian options on their menus, but these places above specialize their entire menu and sourcing ingredients based on eating plants, so you know it tastes exceptional.
