Seabus Schedule, Transit Exchange and Bus Connections

*Note that currently the transit exchange is undergoing renovations

Seabus is a passenger-only ferry that crosses the Burrard Inlet, connecting Downtown Vancouver with the North Shore of Vancouver.

Each ferry can seat up to 385 passengers at a time, and departs every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 15-20 minutes during non peak hours.

Sailings will start at 6 a.m. on Mondays to Saturdays, and 8 a.m. on Sundays and most holidays.

Service will extend until 1 a.m. on Mondays to Saturdays, and 11 p.m. on Sundays and most holidays.

Crossing time for the SeaBus between downtown and North Vancouver is about 12 minutes one way.

There are 2 terminals:
Waterfront Station in Downtown Vancouver, which connects with buses, SkyTrain, and West Coast Express;
Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver, which connects with an extensive network of North Shore buses.

Many North Vancouver residents use the Seabus daily to commute to downtown Vancouver for jobs.

Using the Seabus is considered to be within 2 Fare Zones so the cost is $4.25 for a ticket that lasts 90 minutes. A day pass costs $10 and you can use all of the Translink transportation infrastructure across the Lower Mainland and into the Fraser Valley.

You can save on the cost of using the Seabus by purchasing a monthly pass called Compass Card which is reloadable month by month or day by day.
